Guest Reviews
We are having a blast here, lots of things to do and see!  Our hosts are wonderful.  We went snorkeling and we tried scuba diving the
second day we arrived.
They had a party Sunday with all their friends and the girls were dressed in their New Hula skirts.  He showed them the girl hula and the boy hula, Lots of laughs..........
Aloha  from Charlene, Calgary, Canada
Best pineapple we've ever had. Appreciated having the boogie boards, snorkel fins, water toys gear. Ice chest was a nice touch for picnicing. We made good use of the barbeque and the boom box. Your web site made last minute arranging on our part very easy. Aloha Karen & Terry, Ukiah, California

From the beach to the coffee, everything was certainly Bad Ass. Thanks so much for your generous hospitality - you helped our transition to paradise be a wonderful experience. Come up to Alaska any time! Thanks again, Jason & Danielle, Anchorage, Alaska

Hana hou to you! Alison and I loved every moment we were here. Your flexible hospitality and gracious chamr were just a mere part of what has made our stay at your cozy place an incredible memory. We wish you only the best for your ohana. Thank you! Sean & Alison, Los Angeles, California

Mahalo Ana & Kini for four wonderful days at Nalo Winds! We appreciate your always smiles, hospitality and kindness you extended us. You truly have a bit of paradise here..... one we will always have in our memories. Good luck with the new baby! You have a beautiful family - aloha - Bruce & Becca, Mesa, Arizona

Words cannot describe the feeling we have discovered here. What a treat to be part of the "action" and come "home" to the serenity here. Everything - the Aloha Suite, the neighborhood, the beach - add up to perfect. Thank you - hope to come back someday. Norman & Gloria, Sausalito, California

Ana, Kini, Kela, Curley Sue and Beetle Bailey, thank you so much for your hospitality. The room was great. We had a wonderful time here in Oahu. Your recommendations for sights, shopping & food were all fabulous. I will never forget the banana-mac pancakes at "Boots & Kimos." And now I am hooked on Bad Ass Coffee. Hope to see you all again. Thanks again, Kel & Jim, La Qunita, California

Thanks again for everything - Good food, good fun, and great company - teaching me to dive on the spur of the moment. Demonstrating the hula dance to the girls - showing us Dixie Grill with the trash can lids - so cool! Making custom Pina Coladas and can't forget the beach, that's what we came here for...... GREAT BEACH!!!

Mahalo!!  "Keep in touch" Thank you again.

The best family reunion ever! Dad from Oklahoma City, us from Kentucky, and our hostess from Kailua, Hawaii. The tropical sights and sounds were relaxing. The stay was relaxing - all the necessities (beach towels, coffee, etc.) and none of the non-necessities (fax, pagers, bosses). A beautiful, serene garden spot just outside the door! Thanks for the peace and quiet!----- Chris & Sandi, Kentucky

I needed this peaceful and quiet place for a rest. I enjoyed staying here very much. I will bring my family next time I visit here. Thank you for everything! Sayonara, Nori, Fassa City, Tokyo, Japan

A wonderful 4 weeks. Thank you for everything. We really enjoyed ouselves and if this is what retirement is like it looks like it is going to be great.---- Harry & Kathy, Indiana

What a wonderful, warm getaway from the snow! Thank you for the quiet space, the privacy, the advice on our daily adventures -- now that we've done Oahu we need to come back and relax! (Althought I finally found time for the hammock this evening!) Thank you for sharing this wonderful space! and the boogie boards! Fun! Mahalo!----- Kate & Mark

What a wonderful island experience - from your website where we found you to the sunset sailing. You made our visit to Oahu a very relaxing and beautiful experience! You weren't kidding about sleeping on the lanai - Wonderful! We will be back. Thanks for the suggestion to Kimo'z, they made us feel right at home! Mahalo! Jessica, Peggy, Omar, & Otto --- California

The place is amazing. We couldn't have asked for nicer accomodations, everything you need was provided. Thanks to you we felt right at home in Hawaii! Mahalo ---- Jaimi & Jon, San Diego, California

Mahalo to Ana & kini for your warm hospitality. It was an honor sharing your space with us. This was our first B&B experience on the islands and it won't be our last. We loved the quiet beach nearby, our own private space, the hammock - especially your directions and advice on where to go exploring. The Aloha Tower became our 2nd home, as did this loving space you provided. Mahalo and Mele Kalikimaka. --LouAnn

We have had a lovely time here --- the garden is beautiful, and we've rested well. The sailing trip was the highlight of our time here. Look us up when you come to California again!  Mahalo----Rem & Laurie, San Jose, California

The second part of our honeymoon has been so relaxfull here at your place. Thank you for your consideration and kindness. Good luck in all you do. Hope to visit you again.

Everything was beautiful; your hospitality, the warmth in your home and so on. The island is exquisite. I couldn't have planned a better place and time to marry Dave. The little things you helped with before the wedding were so sweet (the champagne, ribbon, etc.). Watching the sunset and spending time with you just talking. The lanai was a great place to eat, relax and read. I think if you weren't so attached to your dog, Curly might have ended up in Las Vegas. Our offer stands anytime you'd like to visit just call. I think you caught the bouquet.  Enjoy.

It's nice to have a day of adventure and then be able to "go home" rather than go back to the "hotel room." I'm definitely a B&B guy now, no more Waikiki for me.

Mahalo for a great time here in enchanted Waimanalo. A true time-warp in the space-time continuum. You were canny, web savvy, culinary-inclined hosts and your patience with little monsters like ours is quite fascinating indeed! Thanks for all the good laughs and trivia about the island among other things. I will long for those walks on the beach and the spectacular view of the Ko'olaus and Rabbit Island.

I guess David said it all......this time! Thanks for everything. I hope you'll come and visit us in New Zealand.
Marilynn, Victor and Esther, New Zealand

I was dreading the Hawaii I had been hearing about: crowds, noise, people, crowds, noise, etc.... This has been an AMAZING contrast to those tales. I now dread the possibility of not returning here in the future.
                Mike, St. Germain, WI
You have been wonderful: you have made this a very affordable vacation. I knew Mike would like it here. Everyone in the airlines seems to want to come to Hawaii. I will strongly recommend coming here.
                Patti, St. Germain, WI

Once again...thank you for a fantastic time. We really feel "at home" here. A special thanks for including us in the hike/dinner/drum session! This is a wonderful place, as relaxed or hectic as we wish to make it. And thanks for the diving instruction.... I've never had so much fun learning!!!

All our best in the coming year.

There is an old Hawaiian tradition known as "hang loose" and that is what we did for the week. We have been to Hawaii five times and saw only Honolulu and Waikiki. Now we have seen "the other" part of Oahu and it has changed our whole perspective. Thank you very much for the opportunity to see the real Oahu.
            Bruce and Carol, Canada

Thank you very much for letting me stay with you. It was very wonderful for me to spend the time here. Very peaceful, calm, beautiful. These days here will be unforgettable and memorable for me in the future. I saw many shooting stars at night. In Japan when we see a shooting star we make a wish. Is that same idea? Thank you very much again, let's keep in touch.
            Yutaka, Kasugai City, Japan

We enjoyed our brief stay in your lovely home.  Saw dolphins and turtles and enjoyed a great swim at the beach. Your recommendations for good dining were excellent. We will return.

First Guest at Nalo Winds
Chris, Silicone Valley, California:
Have you ever heard of the "Aloha Spirit?" Well you haven't lived it until you've stayed at Nalo Winds! My stay at Nalo Winds took me away from the hectic life of today's world into a reviving paradise. The Chinese say that when you sigh, you are reliving the stress in your inner Chi; well, when I got to Nalo Winds and met the hosts it was like one big sigh. It's not just a peaceful corner in paradise you come to visit. The people you stay with can make a world of a difference as anyone who's traveled knows. All the places that were suggested I go, were just what I'd been looking for and the people I met there were all extremely friendly, warm and open. Those people in turn had other great suggestions of places to go.... Waimanalo? Even during "rush hour" (if you can call it that), traffic would stop instantly if there was someone on the side of the road to let them cross. No one's in a hurry in this secluded little corner of the island. It sounds pretty sedate, doesn't it? Well guess again; they also know how to have fun. Sailing, diving, hiking and kayaking were all right there to be had. My stay at Nalo Winds was adventure packed and yet it was anything but stressful. I was only there for a week and came back with a new perspective and totally relaxed. Sound too good to be true? Go ahead, don't believe me, you'll never know what you missed. Aloha, Chris
